Paulette Home
Consignment Agreement
Thank you for consigning with Paulette Home. Our store curates modern furniture, lighting, art, and objects with strong design and lasting style. The following agreement outlines how items are consigned and sold through our shop.
Consignment Term
Items are accepted on consignment for 60 days beginning on the date they are received by Paulette Home.
Paulette Home retains full discretion over pricing, merchandising, and promotional strategy, based on brand, condition, market demand, and store presentation.
Items remaining unsold after 30 days may be discounted at the store’s discretion to facilitate a sale.
Commission & Payment
Consigned items are sold on a 50 / 50 commission split between the consignor and Paulette Home.
Consignors receive 50% of the final selling price (before tax) and Paulette Home retains 50% as commission.
Payments for sold items are issued on or before the 10th of each month for the prior month’s sales via direct deposit or another agreed method.
Balances under $50 will roll over to the following month until the threshold is reached.
Unsold Items
If items remain unsold after the 60-day consignment period, consignors may be asked to retrieve them.
Items must be picked up within 7 days of notification.
Items not collected within this timeframe may, at Paulette Home’s discretion:
• be further discounted
• be donated to a local charity
• or otherwise disposed of
Condition of Items
All items must be clean, odor-free, and in excellent, ready-to-sell condition.
Paulette Home reserves the right to decline items that do not meet the store’s quality or aesthetic standards.
Any required cleaning, repair, or restoration is the responsibility of the consignor unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery & Pickup
Approved items may be dropped off by appointment.
For larger pieces, pickup or delivery services may be arranged for a fee.
Transportation of items to and from the store remains the responsibility of the consignor unless otherwise arranged.
Loss or Damage
Paulette Home takes reasonable care in handling and displaying consigned items. However, Paulette Home cannot guarantee against loss, theft, fire, or accidental damage.
Security cameras are present throughout the store.
Ownership
By consigning items, the consignor confirms they are the legal owner of the merchandise and have full authority to sell it.
Paulette Home acts solely as a selling agent and does not take ownership of items unless they remain unclaimed after the consignment period.
